But I will wholeheartedly second his congratulations.

Frances had won the Costa Award for Best Children's Book which was nice, but to win the Book of the Year Award is really nice.

And IMHO, award winning or not, 'The Lie Tree' is a stonkingly good read.

I actually found out about this from the radio at 6.30am. There was a quick soundbite from here. She certainly sounded a lot more animated than she did at the Con.
