Mobile Phone Rant.

Post by Spudgun » Sun Oct 07, 2018 6:53 pm

Why is it, that some suppliers want to know your mobile number? Don't they understand that some people haven't got a mobile phone? If you've asked something to be delivered to your home and you're going to be in at the time. Why ask for the mobile number? They do ask for the 'landline' number, but it's asked for on a secondary basis. Well. I've got news for you jerks. I don't have a mobile phone. So I've given you my car phone number. You can ring it all you want. You can even send a text. I won't know anything about it until I start the car!

Buttholes!

Continuing my rant over mobile phones.....

I do a fair bit of on-line shopping (Who doesn't?). So, I'm Registered with a number of vendors. In the past few months. They've started to ask for my mobile number (If we've got a problem, we'll give you a call, etc). To keep them quiet. I've been giving then my car phone number. Problem solved. 'fraid not. These jerks send me a 'Security number' to my phone as a text. I then have to input this number into my account to confirm that my phone belongs to me.

What a pain in the ass. I have to go out to the Jag. Retrieve the text. Write down the 'Security number'. Go back inside and complete my customer profile!

Why do these berks assume that everyone has a mobile phone?
