Yes it is indeed David, the post-apocalyptic, straight-to-video, drama about warring android factions, Omega Doom.

It was given a little gravitas by the presence of Rutger Hauer, however it is basically based on 'A Fistful of Dollars,' which was in turn based on the Samurai movie 'Yojimbo,' which in its turn was based on the Dashiell Hammett novel 'Red Harvest.'

Thank you David. Oddly, Warner had me thinking of the American movie mogul, Jack Warner, which got me thinking about the "other" Jack and 'Time After Time' just fell into place . . . and shortly after I posted it, I realised that David Warner was the obvious one . . . ah well, and now:
