Negative results can be disastrous, but a very human response from Barry.

_ _ _ _ _ t - _ _ _ p _ _ ___ ( 6 - 6 )

But, this is also an acceptable result:

_ _ _ _ t - _ _ _ p _ _ ___ ( 5 - 6 )

Used letters: N, S

Clue: I got 25% on a simulation of this.

At the risk of being retired by mistake is this the
Voight-Kampff test?

Yes David, it is the Replicant detection machine, aka the Voight-Kampff test, from the movie Blade Runner. Apparently in the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep the spelling was Voigt-Kampff.

The simulation of it I mentioned in the clue may be found here: http://www.bfi.org.uk/are-you-a-replicant/

And now over to you David.

I scored 36%. I've no idea if that's good or bad.

The simulated test gives results as a percentage chance of how likely you are to be a replicant; so, Barry, you are 36% likely to be a replicant.

Whilst at 11% I was told that I was irredeemably human - I must try harder

Thank you Jasper and now before the festive season breaths its last gasp
