'fraid so Jasper. Southern TV wanted to make a Bondesque adventure series for children, but on the cheap. They even used their own outside broadcast boat in the series (With Southern written down the side of it). Wendy Padbury became a regular in the later seasons. Complete seasons have been wiped. Talking Pictures TV are currently showing the surviving ones. Even to this day. The title baffles me. Just what has Freewheelers got to do with the content? As for the theme tune (I can't get it out of my head). It's far too jolly for the content. Utter pants!

Thank you Barry. I've caught the series a while back, and I guess this is a YMMV situation, because I thought it wasn't that bad. Okay, no one would mistake it for a lost classic, but I found it inoffensive and mildly fun. The title though, remains a mystery.
