We have agreed that the monies raised at ArmadaCon 23 will go entirely to Talking Books.

We will raise the option, mentioned, again during the course of ArmadaCon 24

Hi all

The total amount that we raised for the RNIB, at ArmadaCon 24, has been calculated.
I am very proud to, once again, be able to say that we have raised £1500 for Talking Books.

On behalf of the entire committee and the RNIB, I want to say a huge Thank You to everyone for raising such an utterly amazing amount.

It always amazes me, the generosity of the people who attend ArmadaCon and it makes me very proud to be a member of this amazing community.

Was there enough to buy a box of tissues for Sharon? She's bound to burst into tears again.

It's amazing that such a small group of people can raise such a large amount of money. Mind you, I'm of the opinion that we've turned money raising events (Charity Auction, Turkey Readings, etc) into entertainment events. This is possibly the reason why everyone is so happy to put their hands in their pockets. Long may it continue!
