I have so many brilliant memories from the Astor; both Con and non-Con related.

I have some fond memories of Armadacon's at Astor. Some less fond too, but that's the way things go.
However I am sort of sad to see it go, but not too surprised. When Armadacon was there it definitely had the feel of an hotel living on past glories, and a few years back it did actually crop on an episode of The Hotel Inspector as an establishment in need of sorting out.
Ah well.
