Sadly. Doctor Who has joined Star Trek and Star Wars as franchises that have been 'murdered'. It's all down to the writing. I feel that bringing back David Tennant is an admission by the BBC that Whittaker/Chibnall era was a failure. I (along many others) turned off at the abysmal writing and virtue signalling. I won't be returning until The Timeless Child is retconned out of existence.
