From the two episodes that have aired thus far, I'm impressed! OK, the cast is older and what the hell has happened to Krytens nose? The only thing I don't like is the canned laughter. It sounds like a 2nd hand track, first use on Terry & June.

Hi all

According to a paper I read, I think it was the TV guide paper that I use; the series was filmed in front of a live audience.
As, in this interview I read with Chris Barrie and Danny John-Jules; they said the audience reaction actually put them off at times (as people were laughing at the "wrong" time!)

Cheers

I've seen the first three episodes, and I'm finding it . . . not bad. It's funny and clever (if occasionally clever-clever) and gross, just like Red Dwarf at it's best, but somehow the old magic, for me anyway, isn't there.

OTOH it does make me laugh which is the ultimate test of any comedy. :)
