Pirates! an Adventure with Scientists

Post by Liz W » Sat Apr 28, 2012 7:20 pm

Hi all

Mum and I went to see this today and it's a cracker!

Done by Aardman (for those who can't place the name: Wallace and Gromit, Creature Comforts, Chicken Run, etc)
Featuring some superb voices: David Tennant, Selma Hayek, Martin Freeman, Lenny Henry and Brian Blessed (in a role utterly suited to him!)

Laden with Aardman’s unique brand of comedy, as well as some sad bits!

Completely bonkers and historically inaccurate; it also does have somewhat of a ‘pop’ at Queen Victoria!

I would, whole heartedly, reccomend a viewing

Recommendation seconded. Its an absolute cracker! With so many jokes that you'll have to see it three or four times before you spot them all :D and don't leave before the end of the credits ;)
